Stir Fried Veggies

People are often surprised when I say I do my stir fried veggies in my Thermomix.  Easy.  Yum - er... actually not yum... DELICIOUS!


I think I might have mentioned my earlier preference for all things NOT vegetable?  Well, done this way they are really lovely and tasty!  Satisfies the inner herbevore!  


It's easy too, which is a huge bonus.  Chop some garlic, chop some ginger, saute, add veggies, cook a couple of minutes, add a little soy sauce, cook another couple of minutes, eat and ENJOY.


HINT: when you buy ginger, it can go grungy before you use it.  Peel it when you get home (use potato peeler) and chop into smallish chunks (1-1.5cm cubed) and put in the freezer!  You can take them straight out and use.


HINT: if you like your stir fry veggies to be softer, cut them smaller, if crunchier, cut them bigger. 


HINT: Get some hokien noodles - soak t hem in boiling water in the thermoserver for the time it takes for the veggies to cook - drain and stir the veggie into them for a more substantial meal.


HINT: if you think you'll be in a rush when you get home, cut the veggies up the night before!!
