Creamy Garlic Prawns

I was looking for a recipe to use up the prawns that I had left after I made the Bisque with the shells - because these prawns had been sitting in the freezer for WAY too long and had developed 3rd degree freezer burns, I was looking for a creamy sauce to hide the damage.

I used a combination of the Recipe Community recipe and Kitchen Monki's recipe - which are, in essence, the same recipe but the Recipe comminity recipe lays it out in a better, uncomplicated way... and Kitchen Monki adds the green chillies which I really liked the sound of.

Again, easy.  It is almost alarming JUST how easy cooking in the Thermomix can be... what will happen when everyone owns one?  They'll KNOW just how easy cooking is and won't go "WOW" when I bring something that I think is so swish and specail!!

My prawns were already cooked... AND were somewhat freezer burnt, but they tasted darn fine to me in this recipe!!!  Yum!!

HINT: The recipe already has butter in it.. I wasn't going to add cream as well!!  It worked well with just milk instead of cream, but was a little runnier - perhaps add a little more flour if you are going to use milk instead - OR - steam some veggies which will reduce the liquid

LESSON: I got so carried away with the prawns, making the Bisque and the main that I forgot the veggies!!!  There was heaps of sauce and you could easily take some veggies or, as mentioned above, steam some.

(NOTE: see how the top prawn had just the end bit of the tail left on.... these are the only bits of the shell I used for the Prawn Bisque!! [obviously missed that one])
