how easy is cake batter in the thermomix?!!
the cake itself? I actually used limes rather than lemon or orange AND I added poppy seeds. VERY nice! It's the first time I tried milling the sugar and the zest together - very nice. So much easier to just use the potato peeler on the lime skin than use a zest grater which was so much messier and fiddlier.
The batter was almost as nice as the cake itself!
HINT: trying to get the batter out from under the blades? Just put the TMX back on the cradle and set for a few seconds on 3 or 4... it spins the batter to the edges and makes it easier.
SUGGESTION: would be very nice with a lime/lemon syrup over the cake while it was hot (that is.. both the syrup and the cake was hot)
