What can I say... beef strog is beef strog really. The recipe is a nice one and very quickly made.
From starting to get the stuff together to cook, sautéing the onions, putting all the rest of the stuff in and setting it cooking, and putting everything away - then sit down with a coffee to wait until it's cooked.... 13 minutes.
COST:
Beef strips (we used rump) $10
Mushies $2
spices - we had them :-), but I'm guessing about 10c
Sour cream - (I actually forgot it... but if you DIDN"T...) $1
Rice or Potatoes - $1
Meal for 4-6 people....$14.10c
HINT: I found the sauce a little runny for my taste - put another 1/2 a tbsp of corn flour in
