Sweet Chilli Parmesan Scrolls

Posted by Bee & John on October 14, 2010 at 10:58 PM

You may have gathered now, with 12 (to date) bread recipe reviews  that I am enjoying making bread.... You'd be right :-)  It's like adult playdough!

I was at a demonstration with some lovely people and one lady gave me some wonderful ideas.

One of them was to make Sweet Chilli and Parmesan Scrolls.  These were particularly tasty and made HEAPS with the basic bread dough!

Nothing to it.  Make Bread dough.  Let it prove.  Roll it flat.  Spread some sweet chilli sauce with a spatula.  Sprinkle with parmy and Robert's a Relative (ie: Bob's your Uncle)

HINT: roll the bread out quite thin and quite long.

HINT: once rolled up, squeeze it together before cutting

HINT:  once cut into scrolls - let it rise/rest a little before putting in the oven
