This recipe is in the little "Lunchbox and after school ideas" which is a little ripper!
The "real-instant" noodle method intrigued me and I was dying to try it. I did pause a bit because I'm not really a fan of tomato soup... but took one for the team (or the website) and made it just as the recipe said.
You know what? It was delicious!
For such a small list of ingredients... it made a HEAP! 2 litres! Feel free to half the recipe if you are only making it for a small horde rather than catering for the [insert large sporting venue of your choice here]
The noodles made it quite filling and one bowl, with a little toast, filled me quite well thank you very much.
The noodles... now they were fun. They didn't make noodles like stringy noodles.... it may have been that I was just too impatient, but they were a little more blobby rather than stringy. I suggest that if you haven't got the patience of Job, make the noodle mixture quite runny as suggested for "thin" noodles.
IMPORTANT: the recipe doesn't suggest it, but I would recommend that you switch the blades to reverse before doing the noodles. Makes sense that you don't want to chop the noodles.
Try it... fun AND delicious. Don't like tomato soup? Try it with chicken or mushroom or anything really.
