These are little cherry (or cranberry, or apricot, or date......) bites and are absolutely delicious!! This recipe is from the Thermomix Forum
They are made in seconds - although they need 1/2 an hour to set and then you need (or not - up to you) put choc around them.
I liked them because they are basic - but end up being special. They are not high in sugar, but end up being quite sweet.
I made them with dried cranberries and they were delicious - I couldn't find the dried cherries. Keep wanting to try them with either dates or apricots - but just haven't got around to it LOL
Covering them in chocolate is a bit tricky, and to be honest I think it is unecessary - a little bit of chocolate makes them absolutely yum, covering them (and I can't believe I'm saying this!!) is a bit too much (I ate them tho!!)
HINT: for the chocolate - put a few blocks of chocolate into a small plastic bag. Hang the plastic bag with the chocolate in them in some hot water (not boiling or you will melt the bag LOL). When the chocolate is melted, cut the very tip off one of the bottom corners of the bag and use it as a piping bag. A few squiggly lines over the bites look fab and taste great!
